Italy 2026, Day 1

After many years i’ve been in italy i decided to celebrate my birthday in places what i’m exited most. Milano what i like, in Hi-speed train and for 1st time in Rome.

I planned my trip to enjoy the journey most. Easiest way to get to the Rome was by train with 4 stops to Wienna airport and direct flight but i said NO. My plan is

Train to Olomouc
Bus from Olomouc to Brno
Train from Brno to Wien
Sleep for one night there
Flight to Milano
Spend few days here
Hi-Speed (Frecciarossa 1000) train from Milano to Roma on Milano-Firenze hi-speed tracks
Spend few days in Roma
Hi-speed (Frecciarossa 1000) train to Bologna
International (RailJetNG) train from Blogona to Innsbruck
train (RailJetExpress) from Innsbruck to Wien
sleep one night there
Train (ComfortJet) to Brno
Train (RailJet) to home

My trip started fine until i get on to the platform 6 minutes before departure and i realized i forgot my headphones. quickly Searching for possibilities if i can buy one in Brno where i have one hour layover. Unfortunately i can not find good offer. I decided 2 minutes before my departure to take another train direct to Brno and leave trip to Olomouc and trip with bus.

I take a shared bike parked at station and sprinted to my home, bring my headphones and run to station. When i closed doors from my home i see my original train passing by to station. I sprinted to station again, lock the bike an run on platform where conductor is signalining departure, fortunately see me and waits few seconds to hop on train. Perfect delay 10 minutes saved my vacation and trip with bus

To Olomouc we have arrived on time and i have one hour to visit some shops.

I bought some goods to eat in the bus and went to the station, little bit difficult to find it but i had a time.

Bus arrived on time and i enjoyed 1st time in my life bus trip from Olomouc to Brno

In Brno i visited few shops to look what is new and went to the Train station

My train was little bit delayed but i don’t care because its my final trip today

I enjoyed train trip from Brno to Vienna i almost empty train, at the border i changed SIM cards in my phone because in Czech i don’t have international data plan .

In Wien i had lot of time to walk around and take a nap in hostel near train station
